ABRATES
ABRATES is a Brazilian professional association founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions whose working language pairs include Portuguese (either European or Brazilian) as source or target language. ABRATES promotes one major conference a year, supporting and organizing a few minor events throughout the year as well. In addition, the association aims to offer interesting discounts and special deals for its members, through an ongoing worldwide partnership program. ABRATES is the only association in Brazil to offer an Accreditation Exam (certification), which is widely recognized both locally and abroad.
